spin city

This is Constantine's artlog. He posted his poems in his own artlog forum for several years. He named the forum "Constantinople" and described it as "A byzantine journey through life's labyrinth."

spin city

Post by constantine » August 29th, 2008, 10:07 pm

i have started to talk to myself
without fear or even hesitation
don't care what people think
why should they care
never have never will
i am an inanimate object
my feelings are my own
i don't want to share them
i don't even want them
i want a slice of pizza and a coke
a football game, a book
put these things in my coffin
scratch that, too much trouble
don't want to owe anybody
don't want to know anybody
and nobody wants to know me
i'm sick of this mess
i'm sick of this fucking mess
want a little pool to swim in
sink to the bottom
cavort with paramecium
and watch the rotifers spin

"cavort with paramecium
and watch the rotifers spin"

...some things are just unadulterated pleasure, like these lines of yours, Dino, John the Baptist must have felt the same way from time to time, his wilderness out there in his voice...
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

must admit its me ,Dino, got a wicked hot little paint program here on the 'puter with lots of bells & whistles...I just start fooling with all the function buttons 'til something begins to happen then run with that...I have to be careful with it though, it likes to eat up hours of my time...thanks for asking, you & Mark are the only ones who have ever commented on them.
