magician's assistant

i am but a fraction
of a whole number,
a partial division of
an unequal equation,
a geometric shape sliced
in two like a disappearing
magician's assistant, only to reappear
in a blue sequined gown, off-shoulder,
my total sum off-centered by a wave
of a wand and though i am here and then
not here and then here again, i am fond
of how i find myself laid out prone
on a multiplication table,
somehow appearing as one
to an audience at intermission

pass the hat
i could use donations
and a lesson in math.
be careful when the illusionist
crosses your path.

I missed the fishnet stockings and tux kurt

I was thinking more like mickey mouse and the sorcerrer's apprentice,

I appreciate your quantum poetry Doreen, I mean it is so neat, like shroedinger's cat, who may or may not have a dirty dirty kitty litter box after being shut up in that sealed room for a hundred years now.
Does that make anysense, I am a goner for math Doreen, the essence of music they tell me. Hard to say which I know less about, music I think.
Sorry for the ramble, it just a statistical probablity that sooner or later I will post some probably irrelevant tangential words.
