mother's milk to me
the land of extreme living

skid row alley
watch the crack heads
fight with screw drivers
watch the
whores
walk down the street with
their asses
touching the ground
in down pours
of
slaming doors
and poor
poverty
and nails on the end
of large sticks
beat
neo-beat
boping to
internal
read the books from the library and
sit on lower east side street corner
in soup lines
like 30's
artist.
at midnight
in the hotel "vogoue"
down town vancouver and read
your own personal history in the eys of those
in the deadmans alley

they used to have slabs of meat in a glass meat case beneath the register. meat on parade. cool diner. waitress would sit in the booth with you to take your order. you would've liked it hester. still there in fell's point, baltimore. stilltrucking probably knows the joint - wireman too. we called it the slurp n burp.
