looks like a delicate zen acuarela 8)

Actually this got all screwed up. The painting at the beginning of the thread is actually a new painting "Rapids II". The painting designated as the finished painting is the finished version of Rapids 1. Sorry about the screwup but there is no easy fix.

the finished 'unfinished' is gorgeous.
the finished is dramatic.

thanks for replying, I liked to know somehow the process thing, that´s all, they don´t look screwed up! :) now the first one looks like a delicate zen acuarela and I agree with judih, the last one has more dramatic tones. Very beautiful!!

i agree with the above. and really, the blue-ish one is very zen in it's simplicity. i like that.

well interesting to come back and review this one
after seeing your "autumn", which i found to be very
believeable, th masses of foliage defined with enough precision and focused exactitude to become alive, in a greater dimension,

this painting is less focused, more abstract, more "gestural,"
but your "autumn" as well as "across th bay" display a marvellous skill of draughtmonship, of spirited deliniation, which ya didn't employ here
