yes, yes, i love them
the banner is sensational - and how good of you, dori, to post the full beauty here. The second one is more like the style of Mingo's avatars - fabulous images.

Very alive and vibrant

Thanx judih & Arcadia & Artguy - I've never shown any of my work before - I just want to thank you all about seven times because it is encouraging for the soul & the spirit... I've never had any feedback before on this kind of thing and I'm feeling pretty good to great now because of all of you. judih - they don't get any better than you - Arcadia - your enthusiastic response was overwhelming, I'll be smiling the rest of the daybecause of it. Artguy - and thank you, I saw and liked many of the pics you posted awhile back of your showing. thanks for taking a look.

and doreen - you did a very good thing here for me. Thank you.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Thanx for taking a look, mt. I used acrylic paint for both of these. the first painting is 16 X 20, the second 18 x 24. I've made about ten of these. I want to do something of some size like this. I have a 2' x 4'
piece of masonite primed & waiting. Winter project.

wow! mr. mingo! it's hard for me to imagine that you've never shown your work because if i painted like that i'd wanna show it to everyone. i adore the details in the second painting. and the funny thing is that it feels like you've captured the essence of my crosscountry roadtrip here...the beaches of california, the windfarms, (even) the rollercoasters (i see this in the "mountain" bottom right...heh), the cloudy/stormy moods & conflict of/with fellow passengers, the colors of the grand canyon, the indian art...very cool & original.

please show us more.

SmileGRL! I was beginning to think the road had claimed you! WELCOME BACK! So where did you go, what did you see, who did you meet & how do you feel about it all now??? Its mostly doreen's fault these paintings are here. When she gets her teeth into something she just gets so vicious. Thanks to her these got posted, and thank you for taking a look. I've been dabbling with painting for four or five years now but last winter when I picked up the brush something changed, the ideas changed, the paintings changed, the whole wham-a-bam just CHANGED. These are the result. I've begun to paint again now after taking the summer off. I'm not done exploring this yet.
And that's the nutshell version. What have you been doing creative-wise and what are you going to do?
