Scare tactics

As a few of you know, I keep a blog on blogger.com entitled "The Amazing Technicolor Fraud". I don't usually get too many replies because I have neglected the proper advertisement of the blog and also it's still fairly new. But today, someone dug through the archives and found little old moi. My most recent post was written after listening to lots of Sean Lennon, and watching E! News everyday. None of them are ever really serious, some of them talk about few semi-serious matters, but for the most part it's just me being my usual smart-ass self, spilling my random thoughts about whatever strikes me. Now here is the angry e-mail:

"Subject: Sean Lennon is lame...

8ozfunk, why do you post these things? This one is just as random and stupid as the other ones. All you seem to know how to do is talk random shit out of your ass about nothing. Who the fuck cares about Sean Lennon besides you? If this is really what you're going to write then please stop wasting net space becuase it sucks. You seem like an angry bitter person who perhaps needs to talk your feelings out with a therapist, or your mom, but definitiely not the people of the internet superhighway. Please stop posting this crap."



I read this several times with an anticipatory smile on my face, waiting, with bated breath for the part where he says "AHHH!!! Just kidding! I got you!" I have never been berated in a more ridiculous manner. Honestly, is this really what people think of me? And what's more, why is the pot calling the kettle black? If I'm wasting my time writing this "crap" then surely, he is wasting his time reading it? And he obviously couldn't be too fussed with the typos either. Oh well. Why waste good spelling on someone who is "wasting net space" or whatever the fuck. Perhaps I shall stop writing blog posts and start reading more Sartre. I feel the nausea coming.

I saw you posted a sean lennon´s video here but I didn´t see it yet. Last time I heard him singing he was more Yoko than John like. Or at least I remember him that way...

I think his style is very much a fusion of the two parents, but a lot of his stuff resembles that kind of psychedelic rock sound of the later Beatles stuff his dad did. And I think Yoko is very progressive and sort of punky even. Her stuff is WAY out there. She even screams on some songs. Sean is more into the music than the performance.

I just now discovered your Internet blog. I'll try and look in on it. Thanks for letting know about it. As for that e - mail. FORGET ABOUT THAT PERSON!!!! Don't let who ever get to you. That person is just a spoiler towards people like you who just express what they feel.

thanks Dave. Always good to have someone in my corner. As for the blog, I mentioned it in my post blog-o-sphere, maybe you missed that one? Anyway I started it back in either June or July and have only had about 8 posts so far. I'm trying to do one a week now though.
