wow.. a week?
i'm very surprised. I've designed 3 different websites for 3 MRI centers ... well they were run by the same people .... but they all offered film & test results sent to your doctor in 24 hours. anyway... just saying.. seems a long time...
hang in there...
as sooZ just said, we're all hoping for the best news

i am not familiar at all with how canada's social heath care system works but i am very happy to hear you have it!
we don't have any such system here in the US and it is sorely needed!
all the best, kurt! please keep us posted as we are waiting patiently with you and truly care very much!

I had some long nights while waiting for my results, hardly ever lose any sleep worrying about anything anymore, but I tell ya I was having trouble keeping up with my favorite hobby. Some nights I was very grateful for my virtual freinds here on studio eight.
I got an electric candle going for you kurt, best I can do till I find some wax ones I know I got somewhere.
Hope I am not bumming you out. When my sister got her MRI the lab tech said to her "I will pray for you." The first thing that entered her mind was
I won't pray just think positive thoughts about miracle machines. And hope all will be well. Amazing quantum mechanical machines that light up the brain's secretes, I am sure they will find that cricket in your skull.
best wished

New A proust cookie for me. A very happy time in my life.
Autumn of 1959, College Park maybe my last sane day.

Sitting here at work thinking of you and my
Baby sisters experience with her MRI a couple
Years ago.
Sitting here believing in doctors who practice
zen [sic] and the art and science of the maintenance of life.
I sit here and wait for the phone to ring here at The Rosewater Foundation and know I will have to drag my consciousness away from this text box and answer the phone and be centered on the caller's needs. I take a deep ragged breath and think about a comment brooklyn at litkicks made about Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. I am not sure what he meant about Plato; it seems to me that the book was really about Motorcycle Maintenance. The bit about the motorcycle shop of the unenlightened motorcycle mechanics who were butchering his bike.
From my sister's experience I can say that happens down here in HMO clinics.
Wishing you well
and wishing we had lost the war of 1776. Who knows how it would have turned out. Maybe there would have been no need for a civil war to end slavery? If we had lost, we could all be Canadians now and have national health insurance, god forbid.

She is a smart woman kurt, but she never asks the doctors any questions, so many clerical mistakes made in those clinics, wrong tests ordered, test results misfiled, refiled and lost, no communication between different specialists, and she so meekly going along with it. It all dragged on for months and months till they all agreed nothing was wrong or nothing else needed doing.
I hope you are an interested particpant, nothing like a sane day now and then to help you stay observant.

Oh I'm sorry to hear of your health concerns. I hope it turns out to be something easily rectified. I'm thinking good thoughts that you'll be back to normal in short order. I'll keep an eye out for your 100% recovery.
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
