Post by constantine » October 21st, 2008, 6:26 am

i can't believe it's not butter
it looks just like butter does
it tastes buttery
are you sure that it's not butter
it spreads just like butter
it might just as well be butter
if it isn't butter then what the hell is it
you're shittin me!
no way
i think it's butter

poly hydrogenated something, petroleum probably

let them eat plastic

remember when it was called oleo margarine and came in white lard like lumps with a little bead of color that you would knead into it to make it yellow? Late forties I think.

I enjoyed that poem immensely dino

very interesting poem dino
light hearted and yet
dark
or so it seemed to my metaphor challenged brain, an ominous note.

good days
the last tango in paris
long gone
to a remote consciousness
where the sensation lingers

wasn't here a "butter scene in that movie?

The both of you will be feathered to death at dawn. And no more women for either of ya. And believe me its butter than what ya deserve.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
