Speaking of Canadian soldiers I been wondering how the Canadian sailor is doing? I have not seen him around for a long time. I miss that rascal, especially when he would argue the US government's side for the pre-emptive war on Iraq.

OH yes money can't buy you love, but if you live in the US of A it could buy you better health.

sorry artguy, I am in a diabetic funk, of my own doing. In fact I can't ever remember despising myself as much as I do these days.

I'm scared of Obama. He has a funny-sounding name and had a Marxist professor one time. Hell, it won't be long until we're all fatigued and riding a subway to the war, afraid of everything the bankers instruct us about. Hell, I'm already afraid of my mortgage..

fuck yeah
the worst thing is he is a Jew
another Jew son of bitch like FDR.

I think I read that the church he went to used to cut the throats of white babies to use the blood to make their matzos.

I am plenty scared of him
scared he won't live through his term

and izzy is bitching (in the nicest cutest way) a bout how much hassle his secrete service detail is causing hassles for the good Christians in the hood. Like they might be over doing it a bit.

oh well she is so young

He's a Jew? Well isn't that strange. I heard the other day that a quarter of Texas still thinks he's a Muslim!! Not that there's anything wrong with being a Muslim. The deeper issue is... well... Facts 'R (Not) Us, Inc. Palin thinks he's a terrorist, but then, she likes to shoot moose up in Alaska. Go figure. ....Maverick!! My Grampa drove a Ford Maverick for a while... what a piece of crap. Worse than the subway. I believe everything my God-Fearing Right-Wing leaders tell me. They've been so truthful with me lately! Oh well, it's off to the salt mine with me... Have a good one, Jack.

I was really suprised to learn that FDR was a Jew too. Read it on a 9/11 conspiracy site. You know it must be true.

Watched the traffic in Baltimore, 1962, the concrete ans asphalt, the people walking by, everything seemed so fleeting in my youth. Except for myself, with the eye of a little god.

an oberservation on Religion:

mnaz
I don't know for sure what relgion has to do with this, I was thinking racism, not theology.

What is a Jew? I read that forty thousand converts to Judaism have had their Jewishness revoked because the head rabbi in Israel did not consider them kosher.

One neo nazi 911 conspiracy site said that FDR had that tainted blood, Jewish blood.

Muslim is a religion is it not?

Yaknow Obama and McCain did not answer the question is Iran a threat to the united states? The first word out of both their mouths was "Israel"

v asked when did Israel become the 51st state? I thought that was Peurto rico,
I hope we clear that up. I wonder if Germany France or any other European power has pledged the use of force against Iran to protect Israel.

Seems Europe should be more involved,

Artguy... how did it go with the doc? Any reassuring news? Any breakthroughs? Your observations are phenomenal. Even the ones that are only two words. I think it is the mark of a great writer to be able to say so much in so few words. I wish you good health my friend! And please keep delighting us with these happy peeks into your mind.

mnaz... honestly, is one professor in college enough to condemn a man? He is not a marxist. Funny sounding names make up a large portion of the names Americans have today. We are a melting pot. I for one am proud that someone with a unique name has risen so high. It is a better representation of who American people are because, if you go by Presidents alone, you'd think we were all tight-fisted, wealthy, old white people. And I dunno know about you, but I'm certainly not. He is not a terrorist or a Muslim either, though if he was Muslim, there is no law that says he couldn't be. Now, all that being said, if you were being sarcastic, then disregard this.

St... *sigh* Obama is not religiously a"Jew". I did read somewhere that his mother was Jewish, though I'm not sure if that's accurate as the only ethnicity I have heard mentioned in his maternal family's side was English, German, and Cherokee Indian, but either way she was not a Practicing Jew. She was not religious at all. In The Audacity of Hope, Obama writes that he "was not raised in a religious household." He describes his mother, raised by non-religious parents (whom Obama has specified elsewhere as "non-practicing Methodists and Baptists") to be detached from religion, yet "in many ways the most spiritually awakened person that I have ever known." He describes his father as "raised a Muslim", but a "confirmed atheist" by the time his parents met, and his stepfather as "a man who saw religion as not particularly useful."

He never had a bar mitzvah, He never went to temple, and even his grandparents did not identify with being religiously Jewish. At All. He never went to church until he became born again and started going to Trinity. It's in his book. It's in his interviews.

I was bitching jokingly about the secret service detail. I think they are an asset to his and his family's safety, and I would not like to think for a minute that the importance of his survival was worth less than being able to turn down a particular street. I don't think I ever said anything about "Christians" or "the hood". Hyde Park has been and still is one of the nicest areas in Chicago. There are even a few mini mansions.

I am young yes, but not quite as naive as you're making me out to be. I make satirical observations of things because I enjoy it. IT amuses me. It's a lighter way of getting over the fact that even though we have achieved such a great victory and have elected him president, there is a chance some random crazy person will appear and destroy his life and our hope with one bullet.

When did it become such a crime to be young, eh? Twenty-four and counting, and a mother to boot, but I'm still a fucking idiot just because I was born in the 80s. Damn. And the whole daughter thing... I have always been flattered by that classification from LRod. But you know maybe it's better fitting coming from you, J. Because you see with my real father, I love him deep down, but most of the time he gets on my fucking nerves.
sometimes I just like to breathe.

sigh

mnaz was being satirical, and I thought i was too, no obama is not a jew, neither was FDR, in fact he was something of an anti semite. They say h*tler was willing to sell him jews at five thousand bucks a piece but no takers.

Speaking of jews, aren't you sick about hearing about the got dam holocaust. I mean every fucking body and their brother has appoligized you would think they woulcd get over it by now.

But for some reason obama ande mccain were deterrmined to protect the jews from another holocaust BY ANY MEANS POSSIBLE... Even if that involves a trip through Masada again.

I find that very remarkable. Nobdoy seems as determinned to protect the Jews as america. I guess that is because of christianity, america is the new god chosen country. G_d is a real estate broker I suppose.

Meanwhile back at Goma...
love peace and taco grease.

I read that the Obama administration has started to manage expectations. We are in a hell of a mess, but it could have been worse if McPain won

During his campaign, the word leadership was the most repeated in the speeches of Obama. During his administration, continue to believe that their country has been chosen to save the world, toxic idea that it shares with almost all his colleagues? Will insist on the global leadership of the United States and his messianic mission of command?

Hopefully this current crisis that is shaking the foundations imperial serve at least to give a bath of realism and humility that this government begins.

¿Obama accept that racism is normal when it is applied against countries that invaded their country? Is not that racism count each of the invaders killed in Iraq and Olympic ignore the many deaths in the population invaded? Is not this racist world where there are citizens first, second and third grade, and the dead from the first, second and third?

Obama's victory was universally held as a battle won against racism. Hopefully he will assume from their acts of government, that beautiful responsibility. Does the government of Obama will confirm once again that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party are two names from the same party? May the desire for change, that these elections have enshrined, more than a promise and more than a hope. Hopefully the new government has the courage to break with that tradition of single party disguised as two that the moment of truth make it more or less the same while simulating that fight
Yes thank you for that article Arcadia.

No crime to be young, we have said some foolish things to each other over the years izzy. but a friend is someone you can say any tomfool thing to and still remain friends. I am an old fool, an old fucking fool, cecil said once, and he is right. I have no excuse for the dumb things I have said to you.

But I cut you slack for your youth and passion. Something I lack but I keep on the best I can with what I have.

I am just tired of the bullshit about american exceptionalism, we are just this country you know, us huddled masses, us wretched refuse of troubled shores, us the mother of all bastard nations.

Maybe the only exceptional thing we have ever done is the Marshall Plan, that put an end to the constant warfare in Europe.

But
Like Reverend Wright said there are some things a politician must say and do to get elected. I am hoping that is what happened when President elect Obama was saying he would use military force against Iran.

Meanwhile I am much relieved that he won, I feel that the country is in good hands for a while.. He is focusing on the ecconomy, sure. But Nobody talking about the 50 trillion dollars in credit default swaps that are looming over us like rotting fish coming home to roost like dead chickens to the coup. (mangled metaphors are us)

I am sure he will do the right thing.

I am happy he won, my faith in the american voter is somewhat restored. I really expected McCain to win.
These preachers on TV are enamoured of that mighty smitey Hebrew g-d, sometimes I think they would like to so a littly smiting too.

It all makes so much sense when they explain it on Sunday mornings.

Barack Obama is a better man than me in every way, I got a lot of nerve to be critical of him, but I am leary of Christians. I am happy he won, my faith in the american voter is somewhat restored. I really expected McCain to win.

I wish him well I wish us well, I wish you happy landings in Paris.

I pray for his safety
