In the heartland, blood and honor.
Cattle country drifts over luckless, blind deserts,
on narcotic seas of poverty and Frank up in lights,
intense light, drug of wisdom, taxed bone dry.
Fire and rock, hoo-hoo, mourning doves unseen,
perched on bullet-bound rusted neon.
They bombed the Sands in that strange heat.
Whatever happened to the Mob?
It's out of our hands now, fiftieth-floor gleam.
The money's spent, we can't get it back.
My enemies are devised in oak-paneled rooms.
I am the only shade in that desert.
Somali warlords weren't fooled.
I arm everyone; grab a gun.
The point of a good punk riff is rarely music.
I voted for change tonight, but there it goes.
Attack the shore, be the shore, footnote lore.
Make random confusion, it trades well.
Whatever happened to the mob?
Check the stock symbols.

T.Y. Cec. Hey! this isn't half-bad!
Ronnie rode in on a horse, and
Capitalism won the Cold War.
Send $19.95 plus shipping and handling for the video.
I think the mob is roughly a brand-new gleaming sixty-story hotel/casino waving in the cracklin' fan palm fronds.
Luck be a laaa-dee...
Or maybe the IRS.
The mob has stock symbols now. It's gone all boardroom on us..
Desert. It's all desert out there!
I don't know why I get in these moods some times

Corporocracy is the new mob, it would appear... the new organized crime (on steroids). It's a monster. Huge "gaming" corporations pushed the old mobsters outta Vegas. The military is a mercenary corporate arm.-- increasingly service to country means service to a boardroom agenda as well.. The Executive branch has turned into "1984"... Ah yes, good times, good times..
