In the middle east the arabs are eating their dates and back on th homefront we tend our victory gardens

Image

Homefront Ecology

The World War II home front was the most important and broadly participatory green experiment in U.S. history. Lessing Rosenwald, the chief of the Bureau of Industrial Conservation, called on Americans "to change from an economy of waste--and this country has been notorious for waste--to an economy of conservation." A majority of civilians, some reluctantly but many others enthusiastically, answered the call.
...

The most famous symbol of this wartime conservation ethos was the victory garden.

some day i yam gonna throw my pot away
bury it in th back corner, no baggie, seeds n leftoverbuds an stems
to lie fallow intil nature's mystery takes hold

for now
i yam seeing th diff twixt
energy and stasis

it's a choice

th edge that comes from straightendom
is th exitential edge as well
not this softened satori

my satori
a sorry story

the bitter herbs
doctors my brain
a temporary solution to a disease called me

homegrown is patriotic down on copper head road
And the moon still shines on Rocky Top Tennessee

a thousand murdered in drug wars just across the river in phar lepht

yeah
take away my pot
my sorrow and my jew
Buddha my heart

Meanwhile you got a woman who knows her man,
and I am holding my own.

it sure brings out the scribbler in me
that cut tendon on my pinky finger tells me me ssri's are not for me.
but one man's meat they say
milllions of people use the stuff
no problems it seems
just a few freaks like me out on the tail end of the bell curve.

I heard a good koan I thing
"there is no empty space"

"she talked about having a rose covered cottage..." Bobby Bear song comes to mind. For some reason, loved that naked with a holster poem, she spoke to my condition."

they took away my line of credit that used to help me make it from month to month

singing those metafiscal blues again

pot is an expense too
but it just another med for me these days, like coffee or metformin.

I loved the story of the tarbaby, I used to work in a mushroom farm in Atascadero California. Spraying tar on the walls of a mushroom growing house.

I maybe a latent racist jimbo, but I think you could drop the adjective, nothing latent about my racism.

Doctor you give good advice to the sane

Homeboy would be proud of you
Did I tell he is working at a va hosp now

he is good jimbo
he practices the art
as well as the science

but back when kennedy jack was mudered and I was going to bed every night with a figurative shot gun under my chin and asked him about seeing a psychiatrist he was not keen on them at the time.

But that was before he started treating the returning pow's from vietnam when he was a flight surgerion famitly practioner he became inspired with their survival stories and decided to become a psychiatrist

He is good, an artist
so are you

got to go bacck to work
I been getting plenty of exercise lately digging a grave

moron that later

in cyberpalship
I remain
crazy jack
son of crazy mike

I been meditating or medicating on a couple of poems this morning

one by hester
gimme what I want

one by artguy

Percocet Conquistador

Yeah I been beating myself up a lot lately, has to do with the grave I dug yesterday.

Only down side about pot for me is the Panama Red effect

"Nobody feels like workin' Panama Red is back in town."

I am a ner do well, learning my hard lesson about the legal tender.

a fat lazy slop

but I want
and I hurt

and I suffer
and I desire

and I live
with a death wish

yeah I am smoking my last bit now
it makes me want to scribble
herbiage and verbiage
I suppose

be kind to yourself amigo

well, again, as i am paying attention,
i see all sorts of subtle ways that pot
changes my daily routine, like, man,
see how much tyme that takes?
and then after the tyme spent
plucking from the bud, grinding it,
seperating out th seeds,
rolling it, and then smoking it, with
long moments spent in utter delerium,
and finally after th joint is smoked,
tyme spent washing up after, ya know,
so rolling a joint ans smoking it can easily cover two rapturous hours,
man
and th energy surrounding this endeavor is like,
wan, see

i wanna do better, get my energi yup
