why did bodidharma come from the east
he killed the buddha
was on the run
a fugitive from karma
a dharma bum
with beastly eyes
no panderers allowed
shave the inside of your skull
while we throw darts at troubadors
jousting with unfinished metaphors
for life

beyond breath
i put the joint on the buddha
put it down

clear and present in this moment
shaving the inside of my skull
