Ho hum

Post by hester_prynne » August 6th, 2007, 12:57 am

Well, our public servants let us down again, Bush gets his next 6 months of spying on people without a warrent.
ho hum.

It's all too mindboggling now for the average span of conscious to absorb, so let the free for all begin. I mean, we have seriously been let down again by our leaders. We've gone a dangerous notch. And I don't think it has anything to do with fearmongering as some are admonishing. I think it has to do with wanting to go on vacation.
I've noticed a pattern here.
Ho Hum.

Man, with our failing infrastructure, our soon to go tits up economy, and continual losses of civil liberties it seems pretty obvious to me the direction we are going........
HO HUM!

might as well add to the list the latest 'news' (noose?) - "the pentagon has lost track of 190,000 AK-47 assault rifles and pistols given to Iraqi security forces in 2004 and 2005... the GAO said weapons distribution was haphazard and rushed and failed to follow established procedures, particularly from 2004 to 2005, when security training was led by Gen. David H. Petraeus, who now commands all U.S. forces in Iraq." ho hum...

for more on that: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20137021/

yeah, Hes'... thinkin' we have any say-so is nothing more than an illusion. get out the vote and use those electronic voting machines with non-existent paper trails. ho hum...

and toss in the North American Union on top of all else! North American Union???
"President Bush is pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada. This was the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration's true open borders policy." ho hum...

more on that: http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=14965

and don't forget your passport! without it you're a prisoner of the U.S.... can't get out. of course, where to go? canada? mexico? with the N.A.Union, it'll all be one. ho hum....

wasn't it Pogo that said: "we have met the enemy and it is us" (u.s.)?

They certainly don't run these stories on the TV media, and of course we know why....ho hum. I mean who reads anymore?

I dunno M.T. I just don't know.
I mean, there might be a few dem candidates that would change a few things, were they elected. But I don't think those candidates have enough money to sustain themselves, or be visible enough. Have you noticed that even on the debates, the ones with the most money get the most airtime.

Ho Hum.
Peace brother.

How does one reconcile one's breaking heart to something bigger, something so visibly incompetent, as in what is happening to our country, and therefore, to all of us??????
We have no recourse, no strength, when money and greed are the all powerful motivators. I, like many, was born into pauperism, jester opportunities, nothing more.
How do I, for example, plan my own demise to at least be graceful, and non-pitiful. This is not my doing. None of it.
Yet, it is.....

Naw, i disagree on that some Cec. It is all our faults, and yet it isn't.
At least, many have wanted to correct it for a long time, and many continue to try although granted, the many has waned. Anymore, those of us who do express our dismay are being watched, evaluated, and dismissed by whatever tactic, by those who do not want to hear us. Are we giving up? Or are we accepting the fact that nothing can or will be done despite our efforts?
Those in power, those we elected in good faith, have turned a blind eye to us, after safely being voted in. Seeing is believing. The betrayal is devastating, to those of us, who "tried", to facilitate a change as best we could, with the few tools we have, only to realize by the actions of the congress that we were used.
I am silently outraged. Ho hummed.
Totally bummed....
