linear reprisals

Post by ~K » September 2nd, 2007, 8:17 am

she doesn't know
when to quit
or how to begin
failure is the swift
fist of another
bored angel
while circadian
nightmares
surface to claim
another dreamer
we doubt what
stands before us
by default we
stretch the ends
of time together
as we conclude
there is a god
who hates us

by default we
stretch the ends
of time together
as we conclude
there is a god
who hates us
aww shit kim
you kill me

I got tired of that bitch slap and the turn the cheek
the
failure is the swift
fist of another
bored angel
I turned the other cheek to myself
to the god of Camus and Spinoza and Einstein
no hatred
just "the tender indifference of..."

that was a good "hit" of poetry
sorry for the ramble

gracias amiga

thank you

of course
conclusions equal ignorance
& my god is not vindictive
& disbelief is the closest
thing that I've come
to the truth

~K...this is great.
as we conclude
there is a god
who hates us
I wish I had your skill of thought and word and crispness--it's like the flock of parakeets that somehow got out and established a colorful colony on the powerlines above a drab depressed north-appalachia coal town.

Thanks
