oración para el día de todos los santos

Post by Arcadia » November 2nd, 2007, 6:01 pm

padre río
(música)
superficie de la luna
socialismo de los sueños
revolviéndose
en lo vacío del yagé
comparando lo incomparable
absorbiendo medidas de solidez
más y más
iluminados, engañados
cerca de la comunidad
de la selva y el banquete.

all saints day prayer

father river
(music)
surface of the moon
socialism of dreams
revolving
in the emptiness of the yagé
comparing the uncomparable
absorbing measures of solidity
more and more
tricked, enlighted
near the community
of banquet and jungle

thanks for reading, jimbo!

thanks also to César, Chuck, Manuel, Ricardo, Úrsula, John, Thomas and Chogyam for the following maybe a bit abusive cut-up

Comenzó a llover allí, entre los árboles
(había creído que nunca volvería
a oír el sonido de la lluvia)
sentí una inmensa alegría
ahora está hecho
ahora sólo me toca ascender
hasta la cima de esta ciudad religiosa
dejando atrás la historia moderna
el tejado brilla a mis pies
el círculo, extraño e irónico
(no debería usar la palabra increíble)
cuestión de corazón
adieu, mon semblable, mon frêre
terreno bastante peligroso
obligados a evocar
(me obligan a evocar a mí también)
sale el sol, sale la luna, el tiempo pasa
salís al mar cansado
¿cómo podríamos soportar el presente
si no supiéramos que se trata
de un presente histórico?
el punto en el espacio
yuyos, agua estancada
el albergue de la sexta felicidad
(tomate el té)

It started to rain, there, among the trees
(I thought I will never
listen again to the sound of the rain)
now, it´s done
now, I have to ascend
towards the summit of this religious city
living behind the modern history
the roof shines, at my mercy
the strange and ironic circle
(I shouldn´t use
the word incredible)
it´s a matter of heart
adieu mon semblable, mon frêre
enough dangerous land
obligated to evoque
(I´m also obligated to evoque)
the sun rises, the moon appears, time goes by
you join the sea tired
¿how can we stand the present,
the horror of the present
if not knowing that it´s an historical present?
a point in the space
grass, stagnant water
the refuge of the sixth happiness
(drink the tea)

Después
del leer
tu poesía, quiero dar
una voz a mis
emociones...pero tus palabras me
dicen
"¡Cállate tu
alma; Sonrisa!"
