Mean Masterpiece

Post by Lightning Rod » November 29th, 2007, 12:32 am

It's a mean masterpiece
a painting slung in mud
a cruel self portrait
of what you will and what you would

and what you thought you could
you couldn't
or maybe just didn't want to
I don't know if it's a coup or a haiku

just my life's work
a mean masterpiece

show it: mean, median, mode--
masterpiece versed like an ode
not av'rage or cruel,
but raw (as a rule),
in-and-out flush of commode
