click

Post by constantine » July 14th, 2008, 10:36 am

welcome to the playground of the western world
technokids, whizzers, and wowzers
erecto set creativity
we will build poems the likes
of which the world has never seen
we'll screw words together
bizarre configurations
fuse cow with lion
and see if it moos
plastoforms and rockem sockems
dancing to the beat
of mechanical monkey drums
clicks, clacks, and the white
noise of the inaudible
metalphors, stainless
steel reflectors, blinking lights
spinning wheels and gears
cracko jacko
buzz whirr
click
the sweaty tip of an iceberg
evaporating in the heat
call it what you will
you can call it avant garde
you can call it anything
some would say it's adventure
boldly going where...

I read the comments to this on the creative board
it must be a great poem, even needle man liked it.

Nothing to do with your poem but is clicked a connection to the word, click.
From God Bless You Mr Rosewater, about a scene in a jail or a mental ward I can't remember which. Another immate watching Eliout Rosewater as he hears the "click" watching the what ever it was driving him go out of his eyes. (this way before anyone called it PTSD) Very interesting chapter, I only mention it because you asked me once what I thought of Vonnegut.

What the hell can I say

I could read your stuff all day

but I am late for work
got to go eidt stupid mistakes later

I used to so envious of people who heard "the click"
