I am ashamed to admit that the entire time I have been having several discussions both here in the Studio and on Yahoo messenger, I have also been doing Sudoku puzzles in a book I just purchased at Walgreen's today. I got in at about noon. It's just after 5 and I have already done half of the 116 puzzles, and am thinking ruefully about the special edition 225 page version I could've bought instead. It's funny-- just about 3 weeks ago, I was saying how stupid and boring it was. And then one day, in a copy of the Redeye (Chicago's free newspaper that EVERYONE reads, an abbreviated version of either the Sun-Times, or the Tribune, I can never remember) I found a sudoku and was bored so I decided to conquer it. I was simultaneously exhilarated and frustrating finding the proper places for the numbers through trial and error. I'm wondering who else here is hooked. I know D does the online scrabble and someone else told me it was the solitaire... so who else has been bitten by the sudoku bug. Anyone? Anyone?

Everybody has heir vice. I was really into playing online Hearts once I learned how the game was played, but I had to give that up once I realized how badly I kept loosing my temper every time I got the queen of spades and didn't "shoot the moon".
