Feminism

Post by goldenmyst » November 6th, 2008, 6:47 pm

Feminism

Women interlacing
Webs of power
Gossamer strands
Enfolding earth
Delicate grid
Linking molecules
Evolving into life
Organic fission
Seeping into patriarchy
Like an army of poppies
Softening yang clay
With tender roots
Penetrating masculinity
Tilling hardened soil
Of testosterone fields
Male aggression loosened
Into fine sandy peace
A green revolution
Of matriarchal alchemy

Seed of love planted
In global love making
Orgasmic fusion
Taming phallus
Like a moon
Pulled into orbit
Round Venus

yinyangin', I see. Nice.

.. speakin' of feminism and equality and such..
seems we get the reverse transformations
before the transforming transformations.. e.g.
we get to till the hardened testosterone soil
of the likes of Maggie Thatcher and Palin and such..
For a while..

Sorry, I'm just wordy and wiry today..

Your lyrical observations are always welcome. Wordy is great coming from someone as adept with words as yourself. :)

I mean, we're only human after all.

soft and warm, feminism wins out as it must or the life it gives will end, abruptly and without a whimper no matter how loudly the masculine screams and forcibly attempts to continue this life it knows...

It's just something I've thought about lately. Equal rights. Equal rights to participate in flawed concerns count as mixed blessings it would seem. For example... Good news for Obama: he won. Also, bad news for Obama: he won. He fought hard for and earned the right to govern, to take over... a flawed and corrupt machine.

John probably wasn't writing about feminism in the "equal rights" sense but more in the transforming, balancing sense, but still... transformation in ascendance can go either way..

mtmynd, indeed the feminine is the force which binds the world and births humanity into being. Well spoken!

Nazz, you are right on the mark. Well thought out and spoken.

SmileGRL, that is un-disputable. :D
