Get centered

Post by Nazz » May 3rd, 2009, 8:43 pm

The best Psalms were written in the immediacy of a thought, or breath, or a single bloom or afternoon at risk. “Afternoon.”-- lost in a time stew. It’s after noon on your arc, trust me. Get centered. Kneel down. Get centered on a horizon or between it. Get centered between noon and itself. Get centered on your gravity or topple over into the others, spilling color streams orbiting, collecting sight, or whatever the spy planes do these days. Oh the kids and their music.

Get centered between a billboard and trees. Get centered between glory and dirge. Get centered between your next few words. It’s the last thing you need, and so you need it. I’ve been looking for a home for so long and I see greater frailty behind ever greater screens. I only have so much time, and time smacks the dew straight off morning sometimes.

there is no truth to be found in urgency, amigo. act as nature acts - everything within it's time, as it always has been. ;)

Thanks, Cecil. Yeah Jack, I like that line too. It was a good day yesterday-- music and creativity. Kind of rough at the end-- some unpleasant memories surfacing from late 2001-- but a good session for the most part.
