I Saw Myself

I saw myself
a ring of bone
in the clear stream
of all of it

and vowed
always to be open to it
that all of it
might flow through

and then heard
"ring of bone" where
ring is what a

bell does

It's great when one wonders at how they 'moved at mountain' without knowing they got from A to B to C, until afterwards. Of course, I'm going to say with Gods' help, but thinking more of during the movement there's not much grasping, just memory later.

I guess we prepare ourselves on the long days, so when needed we have the importants to work with without thought, just act when we shouldn't think too much of walking forward powerfully.

I'm really happy reading these women.

I have high hopes for Obama, maybe one day he will write a book about the faith of his mother.

Meanwhile we have become as gods we move mountain tops and throw them in the river. Write it all down to the glory of man and the bottom line.

Maybe one day Obama will get around to putting an end to mountain top removal coal mining in West virginia and elsewhere.

John Prine:
When I was a child my family would travel
Down to Western Kentucky where my parents were born
And there's a backwards old town that's often remembered
So many times that my memories are worn.

Chorus:
And daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County
Down by the Green River where Paradise lay
Well, I'm sorry my son, but you're too late in asking
Mister Peabody's coal train has hauled it away

Well, sometimes we'd travel right down the Green River
To the abandoned old prison down by Adrie Hill
Where the air smelled like snakes and we'd shoot with our pistols
But empty pop bottles was all we would kill.

Repeat Chorus:

Then the coal company came with the world's largest shovel
And they tortured the timber and stripped all the land
Well, they dug for their coal till the land was forsaken
Then they wrote it all down as the progress of man.

Repeat Chorus:

When I die let my ashes float down the Green River
Let my soul roll on up to the Rochester dam
I'll be halfway to Heaven with Paradise waitin'
Just five miles away from wherever I am.

I been thinking about Nietzshe's 'The Genealogy of Morals' and Hanah Ahrend's line about "The banality of evil." from her Eichman book

There was a time when I thought all the evil in the world was in Germany. Then we moved into a house that had a trapdoor leading down to a cellar that smelled like rats. When that trapdoor was open the dark rectangle appeared to be a grave. In my pubescent mind all my fears became focused down there. Being locked down there was ...

I don’t suppose it is good netiquette to put these fragments on my page but it is important as a landmark or should I say mindmark for me to cluster the hundred’s of mangled typed and hand written pages I have accumulated during the last couple of million miles as I cruised the superslab, but now I got a bad case of the metaphysical blues, that should read, "meta-fiscal blues". I got to make some money tonight so I can afford to keep this up. Please check back when you can, this is where i think the whole story begins, thank you for getting this far
Part of my problem with this page is that I have a bunch of stuff on floppies from my Apple //e that I can't get to. I am trying to figure it out because I need it to fiinish this page
