Twins

Putting new posative energy
into places that used to be dark and wet and cold
happiness can replace sadness
even if a letter of" thank you for the sharks tooth
I love you and still think
of you as my step- mom"
I watched the most beautiful tangerine moon
rise
tears ran down my face
twin step children
I am really blessed because they live in a groovy foster home
thier mom and dad
can't handle
niether could I
live with him
I dreamed a long time ago
the boys had come to see me
they were teenagers
they had interest in "what happened?"
when I had the dream
I wondered
but now I think I was with him
because of them
what I learned
while I taught them how to steer a snow sled
ice skate and swim
we had reptiles and a cat named "patches" together
I felt the certainty that we would meet again.
Beautiful moon
I had almost forgotten that kind of love
returned to me by way of a thank you note
never stop loving
I do not have to stop loving
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Those love threads brought me back
I am so grateful
thank you
my step sons will need my sons
