the superstition of science

Post by sweetwater » March 6th, 2010, 4:19 pm

experience, being the only source of knowledge (empiricism)
would only conclude that the experience of the world
appears as a subjective or a concensus reality

that the larger group (democracy) imposes its view
on the weaker or smaller group

based in the experience of the world

and as we conclude the experience as superficial
belonging to the masses
or as supersitition where the conclusions of empirical data
would only support the larger illusion

empiricism does not designate reality
it imposes that reality is the consensus of a group of people
or a singular viewing of the world

therefore reality becomes superficial or super-real

whether it is a model of science or of religion
still remains,
whether the consensus being played out
between opposing viewpoints becomes a belief system
and a superstition

which may be what we are experiencing

as it seems we are experiencing a reality based in the consensus
of empirical data and a knowledge of the senses
or the 'knowledge of the senses from the dominant group'

so, seeing that the knowledge of the senses from the smaller
group (empiricism) is consider inferior without evidence,
only of it being inferior by consensus

and examples of this super-reality
is that certain products are considered inferior
only by evidence of their lack of popularity

so a 'nation-state' just as marketing appears to be
based in the perception of superiority
and a science of imposition
and empirical

and specifically
the empiricism of the dominant group
becomes a
postmodern juxtaposition

created by mass media
created by the political system

the larger illusion
becomes the reality from
which we navigate our personal affairs

the larger group determines
the shape of society

what we think as important
or popular is because
everyone else views it as being important
or popular

the 'perception' of superiority
or
hyper-reality
