Michael

His friends were boys named Daniel, Jude and John;
and once, when Daniel had been bullied, he
had offered comfort and encouragement
and promised he would be his friend’s defense—
and once in school, when Jude’d been annoyed
that no one knew the basic answers, Jude
had pursed his lips to cuss: he slapped his hand
across his buddy’s troubled kisser— and
another time, when John (his friend) pursued
the furthest wildest wilderness, devoid
of maps and more – survival’s commonsense –
he showed up in the knick of time and went
to task on rattlesnakes as John’s security.
Say, who is like him, Daniel, Jude and John?

This is just great stuff! Your writing is simply great, and gets me thinking...

Alas, I don't have the answer to your question.

I'm flattered that you like my spam of poetry when your writing is filet mignon
