the day is marked by an infinity
of tasks and endeavours into the sublime
neural network of time

you get out what you put in

and leave what cannot be undone
to navigate the whole structure
of thought itself

and what you have left
are the remembrances of songs
and a circus of sayings
unfolding into a new beginning

having the 'aha' moment
all over again
in the deja vu

and in the wake of all
those dreams wanting
something toward
an enlightened disposition

you leave yourself time
for the mundane and prosaic
creating each moment
as if it were the last

but as it is
merely the repeated
in the repititious
markings of footsteps
you have already traveled

and you seem merely
to be re-living what you
have already lived

and each moment a new circle
spinning round
