Complex Societies.

Post by dadio » December 12th, 2010, 10:49 am

The more complex societies become the more laws needed to regulate them, the more laws introduced, the more fascist these societies become, the more fascist they become, the more brainwashing needed to convince the members of those societies that all is well and as it ought to be and anyone who thinks otherwise or rebels against the majority perspective is an enemy of society and an outlaw.

Complex?

I always thought it was decadence not complexity that caused more laws.
The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws. Tacitus
"Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism, as it is the merger of corporate and government power."
Benito Mussolini
We are in heck of a pickle.

My sense of humor is black and blue these days.
I used to laugh at firesign theatre, I thought it was so sureal forty years ago when this album was made.

Firesign Theatre
The secret message of the Firesign's last album was that the United States had lost its gigantic war against fascism, ... On comes the news:

"In other news, final steps were taken in or near Washington to secure the merger of the U.S. government with TMZ General Corp. This former manufacturer of zinc bushings...

I don´t know... I guess a stupid neoliberal-fascist who recently shaved his moustache simply isn´t a great help in these lands... beyond that, each day, all it seems getting so much simpler and so much complex at the same time...

America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between.

Oscar Wilde
Funny maybe, but not necessarily true.

I think complexity is the deciding factor not decadence on the increase in the number of laws introduced.

For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong. HL Mencken.

I think Tacitus was hip

You think so?

I guess it was, sure complexity creates more opportunities to game the system, but I think Tacitus nailed it. They say J D. Rockefeller never broke any laws but they sure passed a bundle of laws because of him. And then the laws were overturned one by one, so we had Enron. So more laws passed.

Don't mind me dadio, nothing worse than a Jew with a protestant work ethic
