The room isn’t what
You imagined. There is
Little to recommend it
Other than it is warm
And clean. Drudgemore
Said he was just going
Down to the reception
And he’d be back. You
Look out the window.
There are trees in a far
Off field and birds fly in
And out of the branches.
The sky is stark with heavy
Clouds and it looks like rain.
You turn and touch the
Bed with your fingers. Press
The mattress. Not Like the
Bed in the last cheap hotel.
Drudgemore’ll like this room
The bed and the warmth. He’ll
Not notice the view from the
Window not see the birds going
Back and forth from the trees.
He’ll only see your face beneath
Him as he fucks and feel your naked
Body beneath his own and hear
The noisy rattle of bedsprings and
Your sexual moans. You sit on the
Bed and wait. There is an old dark
Painting on one of the walls. The
Wallpaper is drab with a flowery
Pattern. You kick off your shoes
And hear them drop to the floor.
Drudgemore comes in and closes
The door. He starts to undress on
His way to the bed and you watch
Each item of his clothing fall as he
Moves. There is that expectancy
There in each motion of body and
Head but still you lie there watching
Unmoved still dressed on the silent bed.

Re: EXPECTED (STRONG LANGUAGE)
Yeah, how often do we imagine the room so much danker, dirty, cold?dadio wrote:The room isn’t what
