fallen dynastic metaphors or yabba dabba doo

Post by the mingo » May 12th, 2011, 1:52 pm

fallen dynastic metaphors abound
the merry-go-round has scarfed fantastic
o let sing Holy Joe & the Rollers
but don't bother me now
i've a frog woman glued
to my face & her source code tastes like
the edge of the ocean
yabba dabba doo
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Wow the second poem in the last few days with "scarf" in it...(check out Dino's poem, "random musings")......funny stuff hear, reminds me of a nutty string of jokes that were going around when I was a kid that taught me that humor can at times be off the charts.....beyond the obvious.....good stuff

i hear that - poetry can take an awful turn to the deadening for lack of the tiniest particle of wit. it don't have to be funny, but it does have to be fun. 8)
