Let us forget party lines
Its of people we speak
While we let folks spout needless
Worked over by special interests
There are children
Dead
As "they" work for our better good
Who is to blame
Can we allow this
Yes we can
When is the reaper gonna come
for all the crimes been done
In the name of progress
The more for the folks
that have more than they need
When is the love to be shared
as Jesus said...
Not in my lifetime
I could just erase all of it till the last 3 lines.
When is the love to be shared
as Jesus said...
Not in my lifetime

not in my life time
either I think
but other times I feel like I will live forever.

Re: Its a tired old game
strong poem-
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
