lavender farmer

Post by creativesoul » July 17th, 2012, 5:07 am

i just packed boxes moving to 80 acres
going to be a ranch hand
yep tell john wayne he has competition
that quiet place inside has returned the war between my ears
talking listening words come like a waterfall from my heart
time to make a brand new start

the people i allowed to take it from me
some absurd ideal about sharing
tore me up
what was mine was theirs
what was theirs was theirs
those things are gone gone gone away
what is left
no one can take from me
that peace
that beauty
inside my seas
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

the journey of healing seems well under way.....and for many hard physical work aids in the transition......if the mind-heart-soul is working hard, the body needs to keep up.....sounds good jana

that quiet place inside has returned the war between my ears
good line
reminds me of a song about Vietnam "Static in the Actic" John Prine

thank you for the poem
you know what I miss
the night sky
I have not seen the stars in years
so much light polution where I live
that star filled sky made peace with the the war between my ears
all I got now is poetry
thank you again for writing.
peace be upon you

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
