I ain't no doctor madam
but I do have an advanced degree
in suspicious behavior,
so I'm certainly not saying you are wrong
about me, all I can tell you
is I'm doing the best I can
Now of course that's a position
that invites ample scrutiny
so I don't really have a problem
with your interpretation
'cept
you could be wrong
both of us could be wrong,
or one of us could be wrong
and if you get right down to it madam,
we could both be right
well my friend......
that about covers it
cosmic evaluation
cosmic evaluation
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading

Re: cosmic evaluation
liking this- kind of new orleans flavor- before the hurricane
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
Re: cosmic evaluation
Oh, yes, very good.

Re: cosmic evaluation
first time I read it, I read "cosmetic" instead of "cosmic" ...
not a good momento for reading comprehension, I guess ...
gracias for sharing it!

Re: cosmic evaluation
I finally decide to visit this fine place and who has the first poem? Amazing.
Nice use of symbolism and irony in this piece, mi amiga. The words that utilize those poetic media: “degree”, “position”, “covers”. Very nicely applied.

OK, saw, everything I wrote about the great use of symbolism and irony still stands for this piece. However, you are probably not "mi amiga". You may not even be of the female persuasion. I saw Arcadia's name and thought that she wrote the poem. Sorry 'bout that.
Still a good piece.
