mind begins melody
unique for the day

my day is ruined
no bike riding today

that bike gives me reason to live
other than that
there is just just this

sometimes ya scatter
i don't know which what
is this

a mourning dove calling
fingers typing

consciousness
wanders back to body
exhausted from dreams

free of dreams
that's what I want to be
free of dreams!

after high speed
slow downward descent
sprawl into dawn

snarling growling gnashing dog.
flash back seventy years,
I thought I was over that fear

if not for dreams
how can I wake up?
I want to fly
walk the talk
