please can i have some coffee? oui
if those legs were near
i would have to rub them with hot palms
touch the back of that neck
seize the day
lost
in some dream
about what i wanted
what wanted me
endless hours thought alive
running from the pieces
seeing as if thru your eyes
took my love
now i gotta get it back vital juices you borrowed
thought that maybe someday
you would give it back
but that never happened
i love you
sure
but it almost killed me
each time i let you in weakening me
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

like a hay-maker to the jaw, and a left jab to the kidneys....love, as you say, can sometimes
nearly kill you

for some reason flashed on the J. Geils tune, Love Stinks
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

i dunno about the hay or the jaw- but i can assure you that - even solitude will not cure you of a yearning for love- whether it kills me or not- i am not fucking going to stop- maybe some different choices- would align me with the direction i want to be going in- but without love = well- it s pretty dry-i think more like 'love shack' by the b 52 s
