In the ocean I saw neon signs drowning
blinking lights submerged in liquid echo's
dusting off destinies colors in a fantastic marvel
in floods of emerald rain dripping off cheap windows
in my deepest desires like illuminated tiger flags
that great huge paintings rising out of the sea
of ancient reflections from strange writings
the words melting on the canvas of eternity
I saw sidewalks under water pointing to the locker
fish swam by through the eyes of the guardian clowns
who had sunk to the bottom of the Neptune Palace
I saw the moon like a huge fish bowl sink into the mirror
that had reflected once the on last dialogues of Plato
the ones that never saw the light of history's day
the ones that were lost on the western road of time
I sat in the gloom gazing at the images I had drawn on the wall
with the drugged dagger of my magic unconscious will
in my sleep, I had been reading Crime and Punishment by candle
I was still dreaming I was reading a Gothic novel, Castle of Otranto
which was required reading for an aspiring surrealist, I ate opium
and wandered the dark passages in the pages of wild shadows
that splashed around me in the room that whirled around me
I was a gypsy time traveler in my stupor blinded by the hypnotic flame
that danced in an opera that I wrote for the ghosts that passed by
in my darkest trance of great crystal ball phantom objects that told me
a phantasy

Re: a phantasy
nice-liking that atmosphere- of mystery with a taste of derriliction and spirituality- yeah that stuff be wonderful-

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
