god is not great but pain is
At least god is not great because you say so
your book is great but not him
he does not need to be great, unless he is a poet
goddess is great as there is no other goddess
why is it that the most important thing
that ever happened is so trivialized
how did we get from here to there
once the trees were great, the trees will always be great
to say that trees are greater then stones
is not to say anything, do we value trees more then stones
to say that a house built with stone is greater
then a house made with the wood of trees
stone seems more permanent, so do we measure, that
by how long a stone house stands, the pyramids
once looked better, trees still look better
do we never see the same river twice, as Heraclitus said
what did people nine thousand years ago think
did they think that some people nine thousand years later
would say the God would pull the wood over our eyes?
and put it in some other people's heads that everything
was made only six thousand years ago, what an insult
to the nine thousand year old ones, especially the woman
who must have been the true subject of worship
when I write a poem I might be thinking about last weak
but I cannot think about yesterday, when I think about how
insane the powers that be are on this planet, I can't help
but wonder is people nine thousand years ago had any inkling
