I'm concerned about Netanyahu.

If these were Old Testament days,
eternal warring would make sense.
And if I could meet the King
I would respectfully ask,
what are you thinking?

I keep hearing about a "democracy" over there. (And over here.)

Where is it?

At arm's length one would hope. Democracy is something the founding fathers wished to avoid at all costs - thank God we seem to have achieved that vision, at least so far. Corruptions & various criminalities have served us well in this endeavor and as long as they remain changeless & dependable by nature they will go on serving us just as well very far into the future. Deep wells always prove out to be the best.

Neither. I would prefer a clear understanding of things as they are. As for gypsyjoker's yawn - he's right & righteous. We always act surprised at revelations such as the one you pointed out and not only surprise but we then indulge in the ridiculous by pretending shock at same. As if these things had not been part and parcel of our nation's history since before day one. They have been with us all along. Every other nation recognizes the nature of the events of 9/11 yet we ourselves pretend to believe everything but what truth is available & unavoidable.

Like the fact that jet fuel cannot bring steel to the melting point.

I admit, it's an awesome thing. Your scientists & experts are right about that.

As for democracy, plutocracy, polyarchy, oligarchy, and all the rest on the list of tyrannies that's a discussion for another day. 8)

This guy has been at the forefront for twenty years now. Seriously? Can't we find someone else? The world should be so done with that shit. Extremist politics ain't gonna get it.

Oops, maybe that wasn't very "respectful." Maybe I lied.

Yeah, the "Z" word is a big concern for some folks. A lot of folks, actually.

Btw, I don't mean to offend anyone with this (though I probably already have). Honestly.

I'm just so sick of this guy and his ilk calling all the shots.
