troubadour

Post by saw » August 17th, 2015, 11:16 am

flowers give me hope
I connect with their determination
to look beautiful, I dig
their tenacity to excite the eyes

healthy plants equals healthy world,
one caladium leaf alone is enough inspiration
to make you want to dance in bare feet, or
depending on your mood might make you want to cry a little

the intricacies are beyond comprehension, heart shaped
greens, whites, reds, never the blues, geometry bathed
in brilliance, soaked in the eternal struggle to impress
repeated like no artist can really capture, like when you are actually there

their magnificence gives me hope, as long as they perform like
flora rock stars, I'll be OK I think, they remind me the future
is still possible for my kids and grand kids, they encourage me
to not give up, I come alive in the songs they sing to me each day

me on the balcony watching, listening
love me some earthy troubadours....yes I do
romeo romeo, so glad you brought the whole group this time
the harmony is breathtaking
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
