I wake up
Useless to pretend I could sleep
Any longer
Art school dances before me
Took some time to install new circuitry
Nerves that once softened to touch
Now not so much
Making my body conform
To everything but the usual norm
Values composition
Shadows
Chuck close
Paint by pixel
Bring in photos she said
So in my head
I wake up
Ransacking shoe boxes
The world does revolve around me
So many years I wrapped myself up insomeone else's love
That this freedom seems to come from above
Shadows and light
No more fight
Left for things
That feel like screaming voices of children of enthusiasm
Spinning wheels in park playgrounds
The sun the moon the tides the sea
Colors rush thru me
Waterfalls of hope
Just have to do this
No stopping me now
Chuck - he didn't let anyone stop him either

it is almost spooky, just fell in love with this poem
