Mister Jeffcot was a true sailor man
deeply quiet ,wind whisper, boat builder
broken hearted. always missed the girl long gone
dread naught Droughty was a pal
crop dusting walrus
the finest wrench turning engineer I ever met
William Blake could build any thing out of wood
Mister David Rockwell opened his home to me
when I was hungry
built a forge and sawmill
mostly just helped people out all the time
never had a dime left over
I was a lucky lad

enjoyed the write but am still wondering how mr frank was able to carry a 55 gallon 400 pound barrel of diesel up a gangplank. that's a hell-a-va man.

Brian : Oh indeed he was that , he did it all the time , four at a load he slid rolled them to the back of the truck , wrapped his arms around d then and picked them up He was a very big man and an oyster fisherman at that. I would not beleve it if I had not seen it many times.
