can't be blown down by any
big bad wolf, it's made of love
for the arts, for the people
that come to visit, for the family
that hangs around on the porches
leaving morsels of creativity
that binds them like distant glue
doreen, she is the queen, tho
she'd rather not be called that
rather sit in the background
and smile that it keeps on chugging
I hope we can help give back to her
in her time of need, in her time
of grief....we are here, hear our
voices, feel our empathy, know
you are thought of with great respect
and collective love...peace to you

there is love all around
in every forum we feel it
and we want to give a little back
in this moment of grief, so
we type a few words
and hope they have have some impact,
hope they bring an eyedropper of comfort
in this challenging stretch
feel the love of a poet
fell the love of an artist
feel the love of a visitor
feel the love from beyond the screen
from the electronic living room
around the world to your front porch
feel the love doreen

at least I won't begin
