blues in the sand haiku

Post by sweetwater » September 3rd, 2016, 8:32 am

the poet in sand
coloring blocks and crayons
beaches and parties

that go on all night
drinking into the sunrise
memories in play

the proverbial
life in the cliche comes home
in the whereabout

as to your sandals
and how they got lost at sea
the time it takes you

For some reason I want to hear Barry White sing this.

Love the beach...the sounds, the sights.

A new blue three level haiku
the music is cool
all in the all night sunrise listen to the surf
drink that last corner feeling.
