Growth

My oldest and most reliable presence
On this strange web!
I don't check in as often as I should
My roots here may run deep
But they have hardly spread.
Always new names, new faces
And the other old roots cut short.
There is great sadness in this,
But still ever renewing growth.
My forest may be overrun,
But my with what wonderful
Seed!
Leave the letter that never begins to go find the latter that ever comes to end, written in smoke and blurred by mist and signed of solitude, sealed of night.
