Hotel lobby

Post by creativesoul » March 17th, 2017, 8:01 pm

Its relatively new
My dog used to play frisbee when this was a lot of green grass
Now it is a Hyatt house downtown Portland on the waterfront

It's so non commital this naked decor
Of matching chairs and little tables
And yes: the laughing hyena is here
Listening to the neighbors fuck late at night
They like it loud and rough

I saw one of those kisses I have not seen in a while
I swear they both just drank of each other
Euphoria persistent- like a repeated option
Have some it won't hurt you
Yes it will
But I'll have my choices

I wanted to be that girl in your world
But my stockings always got runs
My feet hurt in high heels
And I was thinking about "later"
Not now at all
Or how do you get there from here?
Or
How can I escape?
When is it check out time?
Thank goodness for that
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

" paved paradise / put up a parking lot ".....Joni Mitchell

nice trip through the mind past the emotions from another time....the hindsight available in the dumb luck of living to an old age.... 8) 8) 8)
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
