Hard to tell just where
hatred of both started.

don't need a lot of words
to illustrate that basic truth

civilization was an agreed upon notion
to reduce the slaughter
among other things
but are we really civilized
seems we got part of the way
then went back to our hating murderous ways
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
