discarding the slippers to reach the full moon

Post by mtmynd » February 27th, 2019, 5:00 pm

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
corridors of blushed recollections
paled to a squint with eyes piercing
the only light from a candle's stub
held eye-level casting a suspicious
shadow upon crying walls -
tears from ages of neglect

enclosed within its own dungeon
the heart could easily be heard
were it not for the mind churning
cinematic madness of distorted views,
volume cranked higher than nimbus
becoming but a slave to the self

the mind has taken complete control
taken us places that we've never seen
places which enlarged our world
solidifying contact with humanity
their arts, their words,
their music, their lives

but as gautama - so did our self
mind could not answer all
mind is built upon what it
has accumulated thru travel
in body, in mind, in spirit,
accumulation of our expansions
made heavy with the senses:
the holy five sensualities
demanding their needs
fulfilling their destiny
thru our ability to set free
and accept all that there is
thru the challenges of choice

the good becomes bad
the bad becomes good
and the journey of both
is the dance of the universe -
arm in arm the dualities waltz
the dance floor of the ethers
music of orchestra cosmosia
spinning in compositional precision

M A E S T R O !

if we come to know eternity
what is that - that knows?

I don't know who knows from what knows. Never did. My cats know more than I wouldn't surprise me. Or my dog either. Hell, the snow outside my window knows more than me.
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

a thought provoking poetic romp through life that has a powerful pace to the finish line...particularly enjoyed the second stanza....beautifully and creatively expressed
If you do not change your direction

The snows that knows are the snows that blows
the crows away from the brightness of snows
for knowing is like snowing one flake at a time
until the understanding rises to the level of bowing.

I always like your words, El Mingo. They give me smiles.
I trust all is well with your snows and trees and your cats.

I think eternity might be just around a corner, maybe next Tuesday, at lunch, at a yet-undisclosed location, but I definitely could be wrong. Mind only gets you so far, so be mindful of that, and aqua-brown-pink-red-yellow-green and then some too..

ahhh, the sweet sound of that eight letters long mystery of the never-ending, masked in colors galore to befit the finest in beauty.

take off those slippers and slip into that new frame of mind! The moon... the moon... that moon
but a first destination amongst the untold billions scattered like a fools confetti across all that we can imagine,
uncorking imagination and be startled into pure bliss with that which falls before your sight... a sight of sights.
