I chuckled and grimaced at how
the so-called do-nothing democrats
tried to outdo the do-way-too-much
repubs, both soaked in blood and oil.
I chuckled at how a snake oil salesman
rode in and said he'd make it great again.

ironically both Hillary and The Donald lied
he lied about making America great again
he had no intentions of doing anything other than enriching himself
both monetarily and that gargantuan ego
and she lied when she quipped America is already great
No.... America had big problems
crushing student debt, poor paying jobs, if you could find one
millions without health care
so it might be safe to say one liar beat the other
and now we get to choose between two guys who have each been accused
by a multitude of women of sexual improprieties...
no greatness in that either, is it ?
where we go from here......off into covid -19-land
yet somehow i keep seeing that wonderful human spirit shining in spite of all these mindless shills
