I wake up and I try to avoid having to get up

The body rules me
I’m a slave

The best sleep I get is in the afternoon
For like one hour I feel total peace

The night : is a different story
Dreams
That lead me somewhere else

That old story about which wolf do I feed?

I see in the distance
A light
It is not a train

In my dreams I’m a super hero
Wonder Woman and warrior
Of good

Mother told me I was not good

I believed her

Love didn’t really know us

Too much baggage with my father

She never forgave him

Some people are just on the wrong side of things

No amount of logic or frothy emotional appeal
Will make them nice

Some people have to self medicate

Maybe the pain is too great

To get real about what you feel

Not make up stories to eradicate reality

I just cannot listen to your voice

It’s like listening to a heavy cigarette smoker

Raspy and scratchy.. forced to tolerate the sounds

I cannot

the only defense
wake up listen to the silence
sleep as an option

the past follows us
good, the bad, the ugly
and tho we learn to cope
we cannot make it vanish
certain people are not people persons
for whatever reason
it doesn't matter really
with a narcissist we learn
they are the only thing that counts
and that just doesn't add up
best advice is let them be
get away, stay away
