these are from recent sketches at the saturday morning group.
we had a costumed model that morning. i am using a 11x14" sketchbook, a different postural approach from allmost all my prior figure drawings, and I am enjoying just sitting comfortably and relaxed, can actually rest the sketchbook against a small table, reclining whilst drawing, yazzz!

i had to scan them directly, so some awkward cropping was did, will retake them later with a camera for completion.

judih may look like this, i don't know. does she live in a tent or a palace?

Nice commitment in those lines, Jim.

Are these charcoal?

Good work.

oh these are of course digitally enhanced, over contrast i guess a free adobe photoediting.

i used graphite, a carpenters pencil hb, pencils hb, b, 4b and of course the eraser! they were ten or twenty minute poses, might work them a bit also.

judih on hope and wishes she will have her own abode soon.
