THE POLECAT RAMBLERS

Post by Zlatko Waterman » October 2nd, 2005, 3:50 pm

Among all the groups I have played with over the past 30 years, the Polecat Ramblers is the most enjoyable. These pictures were taken yesterday as we played the Saturday Farmer's Market By-the-Sea.

We play blues, traditional jazz, country, bluegrass, cajun, zydeco, pop , ( including Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra tunes) folk and ethnic. We do some snazzy Mexican accordion polkas, too.

David plays a romantic Brazilian tune. "Modinha" by Carlos Madeiros.
I love getting the chance to play all the corny tremolo behind him . . .

Christian ( the blues master) takes a "hot" kazoo solo on a traditional New Orleans "mudcat" blues . . .

Wonderful photos! Thank you for sharing, Zlatko!

I sure would love to hear you guys play!

Do you have a CD or tape of recordings? If you have a CD, I can make mp3s from them for you and maybe you could post them?

Just an idea.

Thank you, Arcadia and Doreen:

Here is what some of our fans refer to as our "Post Nuclear Winter Surrealistic Poster" ( below).

Thanks for the request, Doreen. We haven't made a cd with the new band yet. I joined about six months ago. We plan to make one soon, however, and I'll send one, probably by the middle of next year.
