dave egger vs. hubert selby jr

after reading all but the last chapter of last exsit to brooklyn I have to say I was some what turned of jr. At first I was very intersted in his thefuck's and intaya's and still like that, but some of it just went on too long--I felt sick at time--it is a well wrriten novel and gets it's point across, but i got paid yester day so I picked up a dave eggers novel you shall know our velociy and I have not even looked at hubert's book agian. This dave, eggers is good. he is like palaniuk alot. Easy to read, and fast to read--unlike hubert although I realize that it is an unfiar comparison, do to era--people have said things to me like "ieggers is like reading an email from a friend" and I'd be like fucking right, but I get what they mean, this writer is very in the now--like hubert in his day--the big difference is that now little is taboo , and little is unheard of, and nothing much has not been done. Lots of people are afraid to write about an email, and that is the funny thing--gay love sence are nothing, but addmitt that you are computer friendly, like buk in his later days, he was afriad to even write it--like he was cheatying..
